چکیده
The papers in this special section bring together the antenna community to present state-of-the-art research conducted field and highlight emerging technologies addressing Earth planetary science instrumentation. These aim some examples of latest advances technology for science. Among these topologies, a particular emphasis should be given metasurface type antennas. A can considered 2-D surface synthesized using an array subwavelength-sized unit-cells. Such surfaces manipulate behavior EM waves achieve desired transmission, reflection, polarization, radiation responses. Particularly, operating reflection mode, such have received substantial interest context reflectrarrays. Pelletier et al. dual-polarized reflectarray at Ku-band frequencies synthesize synthetic aperture radar (SAR) snow mass measurements.

This volume is the second of two special journal issues compiled from the best papers presented at the fifth Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) conference, held at the University of Southern California in June 2011. The first of these special issues was published by the International Journal of Robotics Research, Since its inception in 2005, the conference has continued to attract scientists w...
متن کاملRecent advances in cluster science.
Small clusters are entities comprised of assemblies of atoms or molecules which often display properties that differ from the individual components and the bulk and, hence, are considered a unique state of matter. Investigating ones of differing sizes provides information that serves to bridge states of matter and, as recently shown, cluster research bridges many disciplines of science. This pl...
